Desert Water Agency will replace 2-inch water service lines starting on Wednesday, January 29, through Tuesday, February 4, on the following schedule:
Service Schedule:
- Wednesday, 1/29: Units 1241, 1249, 1255, 1267
Water shut-off: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (extended shut-off time) - Thursday, 1/30: Units 1151, 1153, 1155, 1157, 1159, 1161, 1165, 1173, 1185, 1193, 1203, 1215, 1221, 1233, and 2″ irrigation service
Water shut-off: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM - Monday, 2/3: Units 2015, 2021, 2037, 2049
Water shut-off: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM - Tuesday, 2/4: Units 2053, 2059, 2061, 2065
Water shut-off: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
What to Expect:
- Up to 5 hours of water outages during service replacement.
- Uniformed DWA personnel will knock on your door or leave door hanger notifications before shut-offs.
- DWA crews and vehicles will be present from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekdays.
- Some construction-related noise and traffic congestion.
- Temporary paving patches will be in place, with final patches completed later.
Tips for Preparing for Water Shut-Offs:
- Plan your routine ahead of time (e.g., showering, dishwashing, laundry).
- Store pitchers of tap water in your fridge for drinking and cooking.
- Fill buckets or large containers with water for flushing toilets.
- Use hand sanitizer for handwashing.
