UPDATE: This October, heating of the center pool was delayed a couple weeks because warm weather kept the natural temperature comfortable. The end date for the season also may be adjusted based on weather.
Beginning in November the center pool will be heated to 84 degrees. Starting Feb. 27, the east and west pools will be heated. As utility prices have risen sharply, the board decided in 2021 to begin heating each pool once rather than twice per season. The Board decided in 2023 to rotate by year which pools were heated first—or not until February. Spas at all pools will continue to be heated year-round to 102 degrees.
Pool heating schedules are subject to change, based on unforeseen circumstances such as needed repairs or maintenance.
